Humans call upon scales to provide them with honest and acceptable values. Our whole system of commerce is dependant upon this small industry of products dedicated to weights, measures, and exactness of portions.

Accuracy of scales or balances is not a given. A working scale is not necessarily weighing correctly, and there are many reasons for these possible inaccuracies.

Scalemen of Florida, Inc. employs technicians who are trained to determine and correct these possibilities.

The accuracy of the weighing equipment must meet minimum tolerances in order to be certified. The scale technician is bound by Scalemen of Florida Inc.'s obligation to its customers, his certified calibration weights, outside governing bodies like NTEP, NIST, Department of Agriculture-Division of Weights and Measures, FDA, and the ISO/IEC 17025-2005 Accreditation.
